Alex Polyakov currently serves as the Head of Data, Automation, and AIS at Scania Group since July 2025 and is also a Taekwondo Instructor at Rusty Taekwondo since September 2022, focusing on youth development and life skills through sport. Prior to these roles, Alex worked at Mars as an Enterprise Data/Solution Architect for SAP DataSphere, and at Alexandrian Consulting from April 2012 to May 2024 in various capacities including Business Intelligence and Analytics, Project Management, and Consulting. Additionally, Alex held the position of Business Analyst & Analytics Solution Architect at Merck Group, specializing in HR policies and SAP Analytics Cloud. Academically, Alex holds both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Science from Rīgas Tehniskā universitāte, with a focus on computer systems development and project management.
