David Svensson

David Svensson is the Head of Smart Factory Lab at Scania, where they develop automation and digitalization capabilities for production and logistics. They previously held roles including Group Manager in Final Assembly and Project Manager for a significant changeover in the final assembly process. David began their career with an internship at SKF Group and later completed a master’s thesis at Lamera AB. They earned a Bachelor's degree in Automation and Mechatronics and a Master's in Production Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology, along with additional studies in Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship at RWTH Aachen University.
