Hema Kalidasu

Hema Kalidasu is a Development Engineer at Scania Group since December 2021, with previous experience as a Master Thesis Student at Sandvik, focusing on the wear performance of Metal Matrix Composites. Prior to that, Hema worked as a Design Engineer at Cyient from August 2016 to August 2019, specializing in mechanical components design for aerospace and defense, particularly for the Boeing 737 Max, and was involved in conceptual design, product development, and reverse engineering. An internship at Hindustan Shipyard Limited in India provided early industry exposure. Hema holds a Master's degree in Production and Materials Engineering from Lund University and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from KL University, complemented by a strong foundation in Mathematics from Sri Chaitanya Junior College.
