Jaydeep Rane

Jaydeep Rane has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the technology and analytics industry. Jaydeep currently holds the position of Head of Product and Operations at Scanit Technologies, Inc. since May 2023. Prior to this, Jaydeep worked as an Advisory Council Member for the Transformative Leadership Course at California State University - East Bay from January 2022 onwards.

From October 2022 to May 2023, Jaydeep served as a Product Marketing Manager at DataRobot, where they played a pivotal role in advising customers on AI solutions and leading product demonstrations. Before that, they worked as a Customer Facing Data Scientist at DataRobot from November 2021 to October 2022, where they built customer relationships and facilitated the adoption of AI solutions.

Jaydeep also has experience in the investment field, having worked in the Investment Team focused on A.I./Analytics at Mehta Ventures Family Office Investments from May 2019 to November 2021. During their time there, they assessed and made decisions on the value propositions of start-ups, particularly in the field of AI.

Prior to that, Jaydeep worked as a Senior Data Scientist at Red Hat from July 2018 to November 2021. In this role, they led the development of Customer Propensity and Churn models, resulting in significant additional bookings for the company. Jaydeep also created a text classifier to identify customers' search intents and presented their findings at a conference.

Jaydeep's entrepreneurial journey began with their role as the Founder of The Shop Wiz from January 2016 to April 2019. Jaydeep also gained experience in data science and machine learning as an intern at Red Hat from June 2017 to May 2018. In this position, they designed a machine learning pipeline and collaborated with a Solutions Architect to implement production-level code.

Jaydeep's career started as a Business Technology Analyst at Deloitte Digital from October 2015 to May 2016. Throughout their work experience, Jaydeep has showcased their expertise in AI, analytics, data science, and product management, contributing to the growth and success of the organizations they have been part of.

Jaydeep Rane holds a Master's degree in Computer Science with a Data Science track from North Carolina State University. Jaydeep pursued this degree from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai, where they studied from 2011 to 2015. In addition to their formal education, Jaydeep has also obtained several certifications, including "Brad Feld on Validating Your Startup Idea," "Deploying Scalable Machine Learning for Data Science," and "DevOps for Data Scientists." These certifications were obtained from LinkedIn in 2019.
