Shane Cook

Shane Cook is an experienced visual effects professional with a strong background in compositing. Currently serving as a Plate Prep Supervisor and Comp Training Lead at ScanlineVFX since May 2016, Shane has previously held positions as Lead Compositor at the same company and as a Compositor at renowned studios including Industrial Light & Magic, Weta Digital, and Sony Pictures Imageworks. With noteworthy contributions to projects such as "Captain America 2," "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug," and "Wolverine," Shane brings expertise from a variety of esteemed film productions. Educational qualifications include an AS in Computer Animation from Full Sail University and an AOS in Animation from Collins College.
