Gene Dower is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software development and team leadership. As the Co-founder and CTO of Scannable since October 2021, Gene has contributed to building innovative tools and datasets for safety equipment stakeholders across utilities, renewables, and emergency services. Prior to this role, Gene served as Lead Developer at First Table, overseeing a team of developers to enhance restaurant marketing strategies. An accomplished consultant at tomatosource.io, Gene has expertise in system architecture and various technologies, including AWS and multiple programming frameworks. Throughout a diverse career that includes positions at notable organizations like Isobar New Zealand, Chomp, and The Arcanum, Gene has demonstrated a strong capability in managing development teams and delivering impactful software solutions.
