Michael Du

Michael Du has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Founding Software Engineer at Scanner.dev since May 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at Cisco from October 2019 to May 2022. Additionally, they gained experience as a Student Shuttle Driver at the University of California San Diego from November 2015 to December 2016. In this role, they managed the safety and operation procedures of various buses and routes, transported over 1000 riders per week, and tracked passenger counts to improve shuttle availability and efficiency.

Michael Du began their education in 2012 at Foothill College, where they studied Computer Science until 2014. Michael then attended UC San Diego from 2014 to 2016, earning a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. In 2019, Michael attended App Academy for a short period of time to study Full Stack Web Development. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the Triplebyte Certified Generalist Software Engineer in August 2019, Associate Android Developer from Google Developers in June 2018, and Unity Certified Developer from Unity Technologies in May 2018.
