Kayla Werts

Kayla Werts currently serves as a Purchasing Specialist at ScanSource, overseeing the ordering and maintenance of $1.3 million in hardware for supplier lines. With a background in customer service as a Customer Service Representative, Werts has experience managing customer needs for over 50 companies. Previous roles include math tutoring through Kalculate with Kayla, where effective strategies resulted in significant score improvements for students, and serving as a Student Ambassador at the Darla Moore School of Business, where Werts promoted the business program to potential students. Werts' leadership capabilities were also demonstrated as the Color Guard Captain for the University of South Carolina Marching Band and as a Team Leader in a business program, which achieved first-place recognition. Werts holds a Master of Business Administration from Western Governors University and dual bachelor's degrees in Marketing and Management from the University of South Carolina.
