Scantec Lab which was started in 1973 by Folke Andersson and Rolf Bosvik has been heavily focused on accessories and consumables for chromatography . The subsidiary Scantec Environment founded in 2004 has acted as distributor of portable measurement equipment for industrial and environmental applications. After the merger of the companies in November 2013 , operations are conducted jointly in Scantec Nordic.
