Ralf Rethmeier

Ralf Rethmeier is an established professional in the field of business development, currently serving as the Business Development Director for the DACH and BeNeLux regions at Scantox Group since December 2024, focusing on pre-clinical in vivo regulatory toxicology and genetic toxicology testing. Previously, Ralf held the position of Senior Director of Business Development at Reaction Biology, where assistance was provided to clients in enhancing their R&D processes. A significant portion of Ralf’s career was dedicated to Charles River Laboratories, where various roles included RMS Specialist for Global Accounts in Europe and Senior Business Development Manager, concentrating on growth strategies for pharmaceutical services. Ralf began a scientific career as a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter at both Universität Osnabrück and Universität Kassel, focusing on protein interactions and proteomics, before transitioning to roles in business development and sales within the pharmaceutical sector. Ralf holds a Dr. rer. nat. in Biology from Universität Osnabrück and a Diplom-Biologe in Cell Biology, Genetics, and Zoology from Technische Universität Braunschweig.
