Justin Picard has over a decade of work experience. Justin began their career in 2001 as an R&D engineer at MediasecTechnologies, USA. In 2004, they became the Head of Research at THOMSON and also took on the role of Head of research at Thomson content security - Mediasec Technologie, Germany. In 2006, they worked as a digital watermarking and digital printing security consultant. From 2008 to 2013, they worked as Chief Scientist at Advanced Track & Trace. In 2013, they became Co-founder of Black Market Watch and also took on the role of CTO and CEO at ScanTrust.
Justin Picard began their educational journey in 1990 when they earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Physics from Polytechnique Montr\u00e9al. Justin then went on to complete a Master of Science in Electronics at the same institution in 1995-1996. In 1996, they began their PhD in Computer Science at Universit\u00e9 de Neuch\u00e2tel, which they completed in 2000. Following this, they did a PostDoc at EPFL (\u00c9cole polytechnique f\u00e9d\u00e9rale de Lausanne) from 2000-2001, focusing on Digital Watermarking. In 2011, Justin completed a Mastering the Technology Enterprise program at IMD.
