Kirk Gordon is an experienced associate at SCAPE Landscape Architecture DPC since September 2019 and has been a freelance graphic designer at KG Design since November 2014, specializing in communication and graphic design for environmental and public health advocacy. Previously, Kirk held design internship roles at Hypersonic Art & Design and Michael Van Valkenburgh Associates, served as studio manager at Greater Good Studio, and worked as a horticultural maintenance technician at Ecogardens. Academic contributions include a research assistant role in the Dr. Diane Ebert-May Lab and the Dr. Federica Brandizzi Lab, focusing on biology education methods and stress response in Arabidopsis, respectively. Kirk holds a Master's in Landscape Architecture from The University of Virginia School of Architecture and a Bachelor of Science in Plant Biology & Zoology, with a minor in Horticulture, from Michigan State University. Additional education includes a study abroad curriculum in Landscape Architecture at Lincoln University.
