Tama Whiting is a skilled landscape architect with extensive experience in design and project management. Currently serving as a Senior Design Consultant at SCAPE Landscape Architecture DPC since February 2020, Tama previously held the position of Landscape Architectural Designer at Stantec, contributing to various design competitions and public space projects across multiple cities, including New York and New Orleans. Prior experience includes a role as a Graduate Landscape Architect at Studio Pacific Architecture, focusing on housing developments and green infrastructure in regions such as Dubai and Auckland. Additionally, Tama gained research experience as a Graduate Research Fellow at Victoria University of Wellington, collaborating with Ngai Tamanuhiri to develop design guidelines for indigenous landholdings. Tama holds a Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture from both Victoria University of Wellington and Technical University of Munich, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural Studies from Victoria University of Wellington.
