Jonathan Thiessen is currently the Chief Venture Officer at Scatter, where they back local business leaders in emerging markets and support their impact initiatives. They also serve as a General Partner at Heron Ventures, focusing on growth stage investments in inspiring impact stories. Previously, Jonathan co-founded the Adilstone Group, providing strategic direction and fundraising for an international recruitment company, and served as Executive Director of Scatter Global, which connected professionals with global opportunities. With over a decade of experience in developing sustainability strategies for local entrepreneurs, Jonathan's academic background includes a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Anthropology from The Open University and ongoing studies in Russian Language & History at Novosibirsk State Technical University.
