Rob Mitchell

Rob Mitchell is an experienced nursing educator with a robust background in both clinical practice and academic instruction. Currently serving as an RN professor at Carrington College since July 2018, Rob previously held adjunct and clinical professorships at Sierra College and Sacramento State University, respectively, while also teaching at ARC and SCC. With a clinical career spanning nearly 20 years at SGH, focusing on neurology, Rob possesses extensive knowledge in medical/surgical nursing. Educational credentials include a Master’s Degree in Nursing Education and a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from California State University, Sacramento, alongside RN certification and a Nursing Education Certificate from Sierra College and Sacramento City College. Rob expresses a strong passion for teaching and a commitment to student success throughout the nursing education journey.
