Leanne West is currently a Principal Consultant at Scendea, where they provide regulatory and clinical development strategies to clients. With over 28 years of experience in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and CRO industries, Leanne has a broad background across all phases of drug development and project management, particularly in therapeutic areas such as infectious disease, oncology, and vaccines. They have held senior positions at companies including Prescient Therapeutics, Novotech, and Clinical Network Services, and have specialized in first-in-human trials and regulatory challenges. Leanne earned a BBiotechnology (Hons) from the University of Wollongong.
