Nick Opperman

Nick Opperman is an experienced facilities management professional with a strong background in environmental sustainability. Currently serving as Facilities Manager and previously in multiple roles at Scentre Group since February 2018, Nick has demonstrated leadership and decision-making skills, backed by the experience gained as a Captain in the Australian Army Reserve from June 2014 to August 2022. Prior to Scentre Group, Nick held various positions at Cushman & Wakefield, including Facilities Manager and Sustainability Strategy Advisor, where responsibilities encompassed property environmental management and strategy development. Nick's early career includes roles as an Environmental Coordinator at DTZ and Environmental Sustainability Officer at Macquarie University, where a focus on continuous improvement and customer service was established. Nick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Palaeontology/Biology from Macquarie University.
