Melanie Matney, originally from Pikeville, Kentucky, has lived in South Carolina since 1993. With a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's degree in health administration from the University of South Carolina, Melanie is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. Since 2008, Melanie has been with the South Carolina Hospital Association, serving as the Chief Operating Officer and President of the SCHA Foundation. Previously, Melanie held roles at Prisma Health and the Columbia Free Medical Clinic, contributing significantly to the healthcare community. In their spare time, Melanie enjoys boating, landscaping, basketball, tennis, and running.
