Lara Stroup

Lara Stroup, P.E. has extensive experience in project management and engineering, currently serving as Project Manager and Project Engineer at Schaefer since March 2017. Prior to this, Lara worked at SMBH, Inc. from August 2010 to March 2017 as a Project Engineer. Additional academic experience includes a role as a Lecturer for the Introduction to Architectural Structures course at The Ohio State University in late 2014, and a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, assisting with Statics & Dynamics and Mechanics of Materials courses. Lara's professional journey began with an internship at Engineering Ministries International in 2010, contributing to the design of a school building and health clinic in Haiti. Lara holds both a Master of Architecture and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from The Ohio State University.
