Frederick Schmelz

Frederick Schmelz is currently the Head of Risk Management & Internal Control System at Schaeffler, where they lead the internal audit and risk management initiatives. They have extensive experience in audit and finance, previously serving as the Head of Corporate & Functional Audit at Schaeffler and establishing the Internal Audit department for the Asia/Pacific region. Their educational background includes a Master of Science in Economics from the University of Munich and certifications as a Certified Internal Auditor and Certified Fraud Examiner. Frederick's career began with internships in finance and management reporting, before progressing to leadership roles in risk and internal audit functions.
