Hellmar Rockel

Hellmar Rockel is the Leiter Fahrzeugsimulation at Schaeffler, where they lead initiatives in vehicle simulation, focusing on consumption, comfort, driving performance, and thermal management. Previously, they held various leadership positions in research and development, including Director Process Management R&D and Director Processes and Methods Mechatronics. With an educational background that includes a Dr.-Ing. in Mechanical Engineering from Technische Universität Clausthal, Rockel has extensive experience in system simulation and mechatronics. They have also served as a part-time lecturer and held positions at esteemed organizations such as the BMW Group and itk-engineering AG. Outside of work, Rockel is passionate about family and classical music.
