Mathias Puetz

Mathias Puetz currently serves as Senior VP and Head of Purchasing Strategy & Strategic Supplier Management at Schaeffler, where responsibilities include leading the Purchasing Transformation and serving as a member of the Purchasing Board and the Group Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Council. With a career at Schaeffler since October 2009, Mathias has held several key positions, including Head of Purchasing & Supplier Management Europe, and Vice President, Head of Purchasing & Supplier Management Asia-Pacific, where a strong focus was placed on collaborative value creation with suppliers and sustainability initiatives. Mathias's extensive background encompasses achievements in supplier quality, cost, and delivery targets, along with a history of strategic purchasing across various global markets. Additionally, Mathias is an SPP Ambassador for The Sustainable Procurement Pledge and holds an M.B.A. from Black Forest Business School and a B.Eng. from Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University.
