Michael Winkelmann

Michael Winkelmann is the Head of Purchasing & Supply Chain Management at Schaeffler, where they are responsible for the strategic leadership and optimization of procurement, supplier management, logistics, and inventory processes across the Americas. Previously, Michael held various roles at Schaeffler, including Supplier Manager and Specialist in Purchasing & Supplier Management, focusing on building supplier relationships and enhancing supply chain efficiency. Michael's educational background includes a Master of Business Administration in Economics from Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering. Michael completed an apprenticeship as an Industrial Mechanic and also trained as an Electronics Technician for Devices and Systems at Siemens.
