Thomas Vogel is the Head of Verification Fuel Cell Automotive at Schaeffler, where they oversee the Test Field for fuel cells and manage the Verification group. With extensive experience in automotive testing across various powertrain solutions, Thomas has established V&V strategies and developed testing processes compliant with automotive SPICE. Previously, Thomas served as a Lead Verification Engineer at Adam Opel GmbH and worked as a Senior Validation Engineer at General Motors Europe. They also led the OptiVeP research facility, conducting significant research projects in engine thermodynamics. Thomas holds a Dr.-Ing. in Optical Metrology from the Erlangen Graduate School in Advanced Optical Technologies and a Diplom-Ingenieur in Mechanical Engineering from Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg.
