Valentin Melzer

Valentin Melzer, CFA, currently serves as CFO of Ewellix and VP of Controlling Business Division Linear Motion at Schaeffler since February 2023. Previously, Valentin held the position of Head of Controlling at HORST BRANDSTÄTTER GROUP and served as Head of Controlling at Valeo Siemens eAutomotive from October 2017 to September 2022, where responsibilities included leading group-wide controlling functions and overseeing worldwide project controlling. Valentin's earlier experience includes financial analyst roles at Bosch, where responsibilities spanned global controlling and project management within the Diesel Systems division. Educational qualifications include a Chartered Financial Analyst designation from the CFA Institute and a Master's Degree in European Management from Otto-Friedrich-Universität Bamberg, along with studies at Universidad de Alcalá.
