Laura Gething

Laura Gething has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Laura began their career at WPXI-TV in 2005 as a Commercial Producer/Editor and Promotions Assistant. Laura then moved to Robert Morris University in 2006 where they produced a documentary about a medical missions trip. Following that, they worked at Root Sports as an Editor/Production Assistant, and later at WPXI-TV as an Associate Producer/Editor and Closed Captioner.

In 2009, they joined Point Park University as an Educational Technology Specialist and Studio Technician/Student Supervisor. After that, they worked at Carlow University as a Communications Coordinator, where they managed student-based and internal communications.

From 2012 to 2018, Laura served as a Communications Manager at the Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium, where they were responsible for managing communications activities. Most recently, they joined Schell Games in 2018 as a Game Producer.

Throughout their career, Laura has gained experience in producing, editing, writing, and coordination. Laura has also demonstrated their abilities in project management, team leadership, and media production.

Laura Gething holds a Master's Degree in Organizational Leadership, which they obtained from Robert Morris University in the year 2013. Prior to this, they pursued a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Technology Management at Carlow University from 2011 to 2012. Laura'sundergraduate education was completed at Robert Morris University from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a concentration in Media Arts, specifically focusing on Television and Media Production.
