Sumit Gupta

Sumit Gupta is an accomplished procurement and supply chain professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within the manufacturing and engineering sectors. Currently serving as Vice President of Procurement for the APAC Region at Schindler Group since October 2024, Sumit previously held various positions at Schindler India Pvt. Ltd. from April 2013 to October 2024, including General Manager of Supply Chain Operations and Strategic Sourcing Manager. Prior to Schindler, Sumit worked as Product Cost Manager at New Holland Fiat India Pvt. Ltd., Deputy Manager at QH Talbros Pvt Ltd, Tecumseh India Pvt. Ltd., and in vendor development at Sona Koyo Steering Systems Ltd. Sumit holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing from Sikkim Manipal University of Health, Medical and Technological Sciences, completed between 2006 and 2008.
