Genevieve Croft, PhD, is an accomplished program scientist in biosciences at Schmidt Sciences, with a previous role as a program scientist for BioFutures at Schmidt Futures. Genevieve has significant experience advising on agricultural policy at the Congressional Research Service, focusing on science policy issues in biotechnology and climate change. Genevieve's background includes international affairs work at USDA, leadership in research policy at APLU, and contributions to USAID's Higher Education Solutions Network. Additionally, Genevieve's expertise in STEM education was developed through fellowships at the National Academy of Sciences and the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy. Genevieve holds a Ph.D. in Biology and Biomedical Sciences from Washington University in St. Louis and a B.S. in Biology from Georgetown University.
