Brian M. Crookston, PhD, PE, M.ASCE, is an Assistant Professor at Utah State University and the Utah Water Research Laboratory, where they focus on water conveyance and the design of hydraulic structures. With extensive experience as a Senior Engineer at Schnabel Engineering since 2011, Brian previously served as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Research Assistant at the Utah Water Research Laboratory. Brian holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Water Resources Engineering and a Master of Science in Hydraulics, both from Utah State University, along with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. They have also contributed as an Adjunct Professor at Utah State University from 2011 to 2014.
