Laurie Smith

Laurie Smith is a highly experienced professional with a robust background in human resources and organizational transformation. Currently volunteering at Community Clothes Closet and SOAR Fox Cities, Inc., Laurie also has a long-standing career at Schneider, where retirement follows significant contributions as Human Resources Director, including managing process design teams and leading the Oracle ERP implementation. Previously, Laurie held HR management positions at Placon, Shared Medical Services, and Sycom, overseeing comprehensive HR functions and implementing critical systems like HRIS. Laurie's academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Industrial Relations from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
