Kirk T. Mitchell is a Tax Director, Tax Partner, and Tax Consultant with 25 years of diversified tax experience in planning, compliance, and reporting in both public accounting and industry. Currently a Senior Manager at Schneider Downs, Kirk serves as the national tax resource for the firm, providing guidance on significant tax issues. Prior roles include directing the tax operations at Bayer Corporation and Covestro, LLC, where Kirk managed multi-million dollar tax savings projects and built new tax departments. Kirk is pursuing multiple degrees, including a Master’s in Taxation and an MBA, while holding a Bachelor’s in Accounting from Robert Morris University.
