David Croatto

David Croatto is an experienced copy editor, proofreader, and writer with a diverse background in children's literature and media. Currently serving as a copy editor and proofreader for Scholastic and working as a freelance copy editor for Black Enterprise Magazine and Garrett Wade Co., David has also authored children's books for Penguin Random House since 2020. Previously, David held editorial roles at DC Comics, where responsibilities included leading editorial projects for MAD Magazine and developing content for various MAD publications. Additional experience includes contributing writing work for Warner Bros. Discovery's "Billy on the Street" and participation in NBCUniversal's Late Night Writer's Workshop. David's creative endeavors also encompass hosting and producing a comedy variety show in Manhattan, where notable talents were featured. David Croatto holds a degree from The College of New Jersey, earned in 2001.
