Eric Black

Eric Black has an extensive background in production and technical operations, currently serving as the Director of Production & Technical Operations at Scholastic since October 2003. In this role, Eric manages all aspects of series production, including budgeting, scripting, animation, and post-production, while overseeing deliveries to broadcasters with a focus on technical evaluation and multilingual adaptations. Additionally, Eric co-owns Lyla Tov Monsters and has previous experience as a Producer for Oxygen Media, where video production was focused on internal communication. Earlier roles include Video Coordinator at The Jim Henson Company, where international duplication and distribution were key responsibilities, and Assistant Editor at McGraw-Hill, where educational content was created and edited. Eric holds a BA in English from Vassar College.
