Heather Daugherty

Heather Daugherty is an experienced art director with a demonstrated history in the publishing industry. Currently serving as the Art Director at Scholastic Book Fairs since March 2022, Daugherty leads the design for non-fiction books, activity kits, stationery, and school supplies. Prior roles include Senior Art Director at Spiro & Associates, Creative Director at Scholastic, and Senior Designer at HarperCollins Publishers, where Daugherty focused on cover and book design for illustrated middle-grade and young adult titles. Earlier career experience includes design positions at Random House and Penguin Group USA, as well as a role as a Junior Designer in marketing at HarperCollins Publishers. Daugherty holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from The New England School of Art & Design at Suffolk University.
