Jim McMahon

Jim McMahon is a seasoned cartographer currently serving as a Senior Cartographer at Scholastic Inc. since 1990, recognized for contributing maps to Scholastic Magazines+ and various company projects including book clubs and online resources. With a robust history in cartography, Jim has worked with multiple organizations, including Shostak Studios, Inc., Behrman House, Brill, Music Alive, Lefty's Editorial Services, and Parade Magazine, from 2003 to 2011, producing high-quality cartographical work. Earlier in Jim's career, a role as a designer/cartographer at Whitney Communications Inc. involved creating informative designs such as charts, maps, and graphs. Jim holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Long Island University and furthered education at New York University.
