Margo Baender

Margo Baender has extensive legal experience, currently serving as Vice President and Managing Counsel at Scholastic Inc. since February 2000. Prior to this role, Margo held the position of Director of Business & Legal Affairs at Atlantic Records from 1998 to 2000 and worked as an Associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP from 1994 to 1998. Margo began their legal career as a Law Clerk for US Magistrate Judge James C. Francis IV in the Southern District of New York from 1993 to 1994. Educationally, Margo holds a Juris Doctor (JD) from New York University School of Law, a Master of Arts (MA) from New York University Institute of French Studies, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in French from the University of Iowa.
