Matthew Thaxter

Matthew Thaxter is an experienced educator and director with a background in eLearning, currently serving as the Director of eLearning at Teq since May 2008. In addition to this role, Matthew teaches High School Economics at Brentwood UFSD in an evening program and works part-time as an Education Consultant for Scholastic. Past teaching experience includes Social Studies and American Government at various school districts, including Sewanhaka Central High School District and the Massapequa Union Free School District. Matthew holds multiple advanced degrees, including a Master of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Stony Brook University and a Master of Arts in Special Education and Reading from Dowling College.
