Michael Haggen

Michael Haggen serves as the Senior Vice President and General Manager for Literacy Pro and Paperback and Collections at Scholastic since July 2015. Previously, Michael held roles including SVP & GM for Literacy Pro and Collections within Scholastic Education Solutions, Senior Vice President of Content Development and Chief Academic Officer, and Chief Academic Officer at Scholastic Education. Prior to joining Scholastic, Michael was the Deputy Superintendent for the East Baton Rouge Parish School System and Associate Superintendent for St. Louis Public Schools. Michael's earlier experience includes serving as CAO/Deputy Superintendent at the Recovery School District New Orleans and Chief Administrative Officer/Local Vice President at Mosaica Education, Inc. Michael earned a Master of Arts in Educational Studies and a Bachelor of Science in Administration with a focus on Managerial Finance and Economics from the University of Michigan.
