Michael La Sasso, PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, serves as the Executive Director of Technology at Scholastic since September 2022, specializing in enterprise-wide application strategies that enhance operational efficiency and align with business objectives. With over a decade of experience in IT leadership, Michael has successfully led extensive application portfolios, ensuring effective service delivery and continuous improvement. Prior to this role, Michael was a Senior Program Manager at Scholastic Publishing, where contributions included advancing Agile methodologies and supporting critical supply chain operations. Michael's career at Scholastic spans multiple positions, including Program Manager and Senior Project Manager, focusing on optimizing product lifecycle management and modernizing supply chain infrastructure. Michael holds a Master of Science in Management Information Systems from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, as well as a degree in Management from Florida International University and a certification in Application Development from the Chubb Institute of Technology.
