Ray Coutu

Ray Coutu is the Editor-in-Chief at Scholastic, where they develop print and digital resources for K–8 educators, focusing on progressive teaching methods. Previously, Ray served as Senior Editor for Instructor Magazine, managing article content and collaborating with educational leaders. They began their publishing career at Heinemann Publishing, acquiring and developing new products for K–12 educators. Ray holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Boston University and a Master's in Language and Literacy from Harvard University Graduate School of Education. They are also a K–3 Literacy Tutor at Catapult Learning.
