Robert Defendorf

Robert Defendorf is an experienced human resources professional with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as Senior Director of Human Resources at Scholastic Inc. since November 2013, Robert has held multiple HR positions within the company since 1996, including Director and Senior Human Resources Manager. Prior to joining Scholastic, Robert was the Director of Employee Relations at Bantam Doubleday Dell Publishing Group, where responsibilities included counseling management on various employee-related matters and implementing development programs. Robert holds an M.B.A. in Marketing from The George Washington University School of Business and a B.A. in English from the College of the Holy Cross.
