Trace DePass is a versatile and dedicated teaching artist with extensive experience in youth literacy and the arts. Currently serving as a Teaching Artist with Teachers & Writers Collaborative since December 2021 and as a Teaching Artist with Urban Word NYC since September 2014, Trace contributes to the development of writing and theater skills among young individuals aged 13 to 19. As an author with [PANK] Magazine since June 2018 and a consultant for Scholastic, Trace played a crucial role in editing "Scholastic's Best Teen Writing of 2017," which involved curating approximately 300 pieces from over 11,000 submissions. Additionally, Trace worked with The Climate Museum from November 2018 to June 2022, helping to expand youth engagement programs. Early career experience includes an internship with the City Council from 2012 to February 2014. Educational qualifications include a High School Diploma in Graphic Design from Thomas A. Edison CTE High School and participation as a Poets House Fellow.
