Andrew Fishman

Andrew is the President of Schonfeld and a member of the three-person Executive Committee. Since joining Schonfeld in 2000, Andrew has been instrumental in establishing and guiding a myriad of business lines (including broker dealers, proprietary trading firms, investment advisers and the family office) through several business cycles, and has led several strategic capital transactions. Andrew currently manages the non-investment activities of the business, having direct reports from the heads of finance & accounting, operations, technology and legal & compliance. Andrew continues to be actively engaged in business development & risk management as well as being a member of the advisory & capital allocation committees. From 1989 to 2000, Andrew specialized in structuring private placements of equity and debt securities with UBS, Citibank, Capstar Partners and Salomon Brothers. From 1984 to 1989, Andrew practiced law in the New York office of Hunton & Williams and focused on highly-structured corporate finance transactions. He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Emory University in 1981 and a Juris Doctor degree with honors from Boston University School of Law in 1984.
