Simon Barker

Simon Barker is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in infrastructure and operations management. Currently serving as the Global Head of WinOps at Schonfeld since September 2020, Simon has progressed through various technical roles, including Senior WinOps Architect and Senior WinOps Engineer. Previous experience includes serving as a Windows Administrator at Jane Street and holding multiple leadership positions at Lanware, overseeing a team of Infrastructure Engineers and managing complex incidents. Simon's early career includes significant roles at Oakfield School, the University of Leicester, Leicestershire Police, and De Montfort University. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Leicester and ongoing Master's studies in Software and Systems Security at the University of Oxford.
