Tom Jackson, APR, is the Director of Communications and Community Engagement at School District 45, where they focus on building awareness, understanding, and trust through effective communication. With almost 30 years of public relations experience, Tom previously served as the Director of Public Relations at Sunny Ridge Family Center from 1999 to 2014, managing communication strategies and crisis communications. They also held the position of Public Relations Officer at Aurora East School District 131 from 2016 to 2021. Tom is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
