Markita Grant

Markita Grant is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the High School Principal at Terrebonne Parish School District since October 2015, where previous roles include Assistant Principal. Grant has also held the position of Principal at Elysian Fields Middle School and Assistant Principal at Franklin Junior High School under St. Mary Parish School Board. Prior experience includes roles as TAP Master Teacher and Career Teacher. Markita Grant holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Nicholls State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Louisiana State University.
