Alison Pratt has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Alison began their career as a Public Relations Manager at Yale University Press in 1997, where they coordinated with museums in the US and UK to promote exhibitions and catalogues. From 2004 to 2009, they served as the External Affairs Director at The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum, where they oversaw and managed various departments including fundraising events, sponsorship, communications, advertising, and membership. In 2010, they transitioned to Morris Media Group as a Feature Writer, a role they held until 2018. During their time at Morris Media Group, they showcased their writing skills. In 2018, they joined Ridgefield Public Schools as a Communications Coordinator, where they worked with the Assistant Superintendent and staff at nine schools to support the communication department by writing newsletters, communicating with local media, and generating content for social media. Alison'smost recent position is as a Social Media Representative at School Webmasters, where they started in 2019.

Alison Pratt attended Wesleyan University from 1987 to 1991, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature.
