Loraine Jones is an experienced education professional currently serving as a Literacy Specialist at Journey Community Schools since July 2014, where responsibilities include coaching and supporting school administrators, interventionists, and teachers in foundational reading skills and interventions, as well as conducting data analysis for school improvement plans. Prior to this, Loraine held positions as Assistant Principal for K-2 and Intervention Specialist, contributing to the development of RTI best practices at Aspire Coleman. In addition, Loraine is an Instructional Facilitator at SchoolKit, providing coaching and professional development for school and district leaders. Loraine's teaching experience includes serving as the K-1 Lead Teacher at Aspire Public Schools. Loraine holds a Master of Arts in African American Studies from Clark Atlanta University and a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Dillard University.
