Schools Advisory Service (SAS) are proud to be considered the market leader for Staff Absence Protection, working with over 4,000 schools, offering them the most flexible and unique policy available.

Having worked exclusively in the Education Sector for over 20 years, we know that all Schools and Academies have different requirements when it comes to managing staff absence. Our tailored policy can meet all the individual requirements of Primary, Secondary & Special Schools; Self-funding Schools; Academies & Multi-Academy Trusts.

Options include:

Cover for all pre-existing conditions - including pre-planned operations, ongoing absences & known maternities

Multi-Year Policies - Fixed annual premiums to ensure budget certainty & bespoke payment plans

Maternity-Focused Cover - a cheaper policy option that focuses on cover for maternity absences & long-term illness

Bespoke Multi-Academy Trust Policies including group discounts

SAS also take an active approach in preventing and reducing staff absence at school through our extensive ‘Medical & WellBeing Support Service’, included as standard in all policies. Our in-house, fully-qualified nurse team will create a bespoke support package for the individual needs of any staff accessing the service.
