Daniel Weidner

Daniel Weidner is a dedicated Qualitätsingenieur currently working at SCHOTT Pharma since August 2022 and at SCHOTT since March 2021. Previous experience includes a role as a Weiterbildung participant at alfatraining Bildungszentrum GmbH, focusing on Six Sigma methodologies and process optimization. Daniel also served as a Research Assistant at the Institut für Oberflächentechnik, RWTH Aachen University, from August 2016 to October 2020, where contributions included the development of industrial coatings, maintenance of coating and vacuum systems, and analyzing thin films. Academic achievements include a Master of Science in Materialwissenschaften from RWTH Aachen University and a study period at KTH Royal Institute of Technology. Daniel's Master's thesis involved the development of functional Al2O3 coatings for aluminium die casting, while the Bachelor's thesis focused on the tribological behavior of a specific coating system.
